Tunis-based fintech startup Konnect Networks has secured an undisclosed investment from Attijariwafa Ventures, part of a broader round that includes participation from Utopia Capital Management, 54 Collective, Visa, Plug and Play Tech Center, Renew Capital, Digital Africa Ventures, and Sunny Side Venture Partners.

Founded in 2021 by Amin Ben Abderrahman, Konnect offers payment orchestration solutions for businesses of all sizes, including seamless payment links, e-commerce plugins, and API-based integration for both online and point-of-sale transactions. Key Takeaways

Konnect has recorded over 20% month-on-month growth, reaching a 4% share of Tunisia’s e-commerce market within three years. In a key regulatory milestone, the company also became the first recipient of a Payment Facilitator license from the Central Bank of Tunisia. As digital payment adoption accelerates across the MENA region, Konnect’s model—offering a flexible, scalable payment platform—aligns with broader trends in fintech investment. The participation of global players like Visa and Plug and Play signals confidence in Konnect’s potential to become a payments leader beyond Tunisia.
