Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions?
We can answer them
Deposit and Withdrawals in XAF Currency
Daba currently does not support the XAF currency (Central African CFA Franc). Our payment system is not configured to process direct wire transfers to bank accounts domiciled in the XAF zone (Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon).
What alternatives do I have for withdrawals as a customer in the XAF zone?
As a Daba customer in an XAF zone country, you have several withdrawal options:
- Withdraw to a USD, EUR, or XOF account (West African CFA Franc)
- Use digital payment services like Mobile Money, PayPal, Revolut, or Wise
- Set up a multi-currency account with our supported banking partners
Can I convert my investments to XAF before withdrawing?
No. Daba only allows withdrawals in the same currency as your account balance. For example, if your balance is in USD, you can only withdraw to a USD-denominated account.
What fees are associated with alternative withdrawal methods?
Each withdrawal method has its own fee structure which are clearly stated on the app. Premium Daba Pro customers enjoy reduced fees across all withdrawal methods.
Will Daba support XAF deposits and withdrawals in the future?
We’re actively working to expand our currency support, including XAF. Our product roadmap includes plans to integrate with more banking networks in Central Africa. We’ll notify all customers when this feature becomes available.
What if I only have an XAF bank account?
We recommend opening a USD, EUR, or XOF account with a bank that operates in both your country and a supported currency zone. Alternatively, digital payment services like Wise or Revolut can provide virtual accounts in multiple currencies.
